Vietnam – ASEAN Center for Private Economic Development and Cooperation (VAPEDCO)
Dear Esteemed Agencies, Partners, and Business Community,
In the context of a rapidly transforming global economy, the private sector is increasingly affirming its role as a key driving force for growth, innovation, and integration. Vietnam — positioned at the heart of Southeast Asia — is entering a new stage of development that requires close linkage between national internal strength and international external resources, between policy – science – business – and investment.
In that spirit, the Vietnam – ASEAN Center for Private Economic Development and Cooperation (VAPEDCO) was established with the mission:
“Connecting knowledge – Fostering cooperation – Elevating Vietnamese private enterprises within the ASEAN and global arenas.”
VAPEDCO is an independent scientific and technological organization under the Vietnam – ASEAN Economic Cooperation Development Association, bringing together experts, scientists, and entrepreneurs from both domestic and international communities who share a unified strategic vision:
• Conduct research and propose scientific and technological solutions to support the development of the private economic sector;
• Provide consultancy, investment promotion, and support enterprises in accessing FDI capital, technology transfer, and business model innovation;
• Serve as an economic cooperation bridge between Vietnam and other ASEAN member states, while expanding partnership networks with advanced economies such as Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, China, and other global partners.
We firmly believe that the sustainable growth of the private sector not only contributes to national economic expansion but also lays the foundation for Vietnam’s deeper integration and enhanced international standing. Therefore, VAPEDCO is committed to accompanying governmental bodies, local authorities, associations, enterprises, and investors in building an ecosystem of cooperation that is effective, transparent, and sustainable.

VISION, MISSION, AND CORE VALUES OF VAPEDCO
I. VISION:
– In the context of deep globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution reshaping the global economy, the Vietnam – ASEAN Center for Private Economic Development and Cooperation (VAPEDCO) aims to become a leading research, consulting, and economic cooperation hub in the ASEAN region — playing a pioneering role in supporting, promoting, and elevating Vietnam’s private sector on the regional and global economic map. – VAPEDCO positions itself as a strategic bridge between “science – governance – investment – international cooperation,” a convergence point of knowledge, technology, and business, with the goal to: – Promote sustainable development of Vietnam’s private sector through research, knowledge transfer, and management innovation; – Strengthen Vietnam – ASEAN economic linkages, establishing a dynamic, efficient, and regionally connected cooperation ecosystem integrated with global value chains; – Become an international investment connection hub (FDI Hub), supporting Vietnamese enterprises in accessing capital, technology, talent, and new markets; – Contribute to enhancing national competitiveness and building an independent, self-reliant, deeply integrated, and sustainably developed economy.

II. MISSION
The Vietnam – ASEAN Center for Private Economic Development and Cooperation (VAPEDCO) was founded with the mission of accompanying the dynamic growth of the private economic sector — recognized as one of the most important driving forces of Vietnam’s economy in the era of deep regional and global integration.
➢ VAPEDCO fulfills its mission through five strategic directions:
1. Research – Consulting – Policy Recommendation:
Analyze and forecast domestic and global economic trends; propose solutions and policy recommendations to support the sustainable development of the private sector, aligned with digital transformation, green economy, and international integration.
2. Connection – Cooperation – Integration:
Serve as a reliable bridge linking Vietnamese private enterprises with ASEAN and international partners; expand networks for trade, investment, science – technology collaboration, and knowledge transfer.
3. Investment Promotion – Attracting DDI and FDI:
Support Vietnamese enterprises in accessing domestic and foreign investment capital, participating in global supply chains; simultaneously provide strategic consulting for international investors exploring, investing, and partnering in Vietnam.
4. Enterprise Development – Enhancing Competitiveness:
Provide consulting, training, and support for enterprises in governance, strategic development, technological innovation, and productivity improvement toward international standards.
5. Social Responsibility – Sustainable Development:
Integrate economic goals with social and environmental values; promote green business models, community enterprises, and balanced benefit-sharing among investors, businesses, and society.
